The Castle Rock Lake and Lake Petenwell Area is a very popular vacation area in both Juneau and Adams Counties with also includes the Wisconsin Dells as well.  Castle Rock Petenwell area is centrally located for vacationers from Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton and even the Twin Cities/Minneapolis. 

There’s a little bit of everything for everyone around these two big lakes!  If you are into hunting, you can hunt most of Plumb Creek Timber Lands properties, Colburn Wildlife Area, Quincy Bluff Wetlands Natural Area and Leola Marsh Wildlife Area. in Adams County.
